Job Summary
At Stahla Services, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service across the United States. As we expand our specialty trailer brokerage and supporting services nationwide, we are seeking a motivated and resourceful Partnership Sales and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is a new position, and as it develops, flexibility will be essential. Successful candidates will create and maintain relationships with customers, achieve sales and profit growth goals, and provide the highest quality of customer service in the industry.

Key Responsibilities
Customer and Vendor Management:

  • Accurately coordinate the efficient and cost-effective process of responding to quotes online and via phone.
  • Respond to inbound calls and online requests for quotes for service.
  • Perform outbound calls to vendors to schedule service.
  • Negotiate pricing to meet customer needs while ensuring profitable rates.
  • Responsible for generating leads and converting these leads into profitable customers by expertly negotiating rates with suppliers to meet the customer’s needs.
  • Develop and maintain beneficial relationships with our vendors.
  • Coordinate all vendor management tasks and communication between vendors and internal teams.
  • Facilitate communication and troubleshooting with relevant parties for all vendor-related issues.
  • Manage vendor relationships including vendor selection, contract negotiation, integration, operation, and renewals.
  • Identify potential suppliers and vendors globally to meet procurement needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of supplier information, quotes, contracts, and compliance documentation.
  • Research and select the best companies/vendors to fulfill the work and create the best margins for Stahla Services.

Lead Matching:

  • Handle and manage incoming leads provided by the sales and marketing team.
  • Sell services within the leads given, ensuring a good match and optimal service delivery.
  • Earn a 50% commission on lead sales.

Sales and Growth:

  • Utilize leads provided by Stahla Services to generate business.
  • Expand the customer base by providing exceptional service and ensuring repeat business.
  • Perform outbound customer relationship calls to existing customers that you are responsible for.
  • Offer additional services as appropriate.
  • Continually hire and feed leads to partners with the best customer and vendor feedback.
  • Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve targets and expand our customer base.
  • Prepare sales quotes, proposals, and contracts in collaboration with the sales team.

Training and Development:

  • Undergo a training period where the first five jobs’ profits are split 50/50 with the trainer.
  • First 20 lead sales split 50/50 with the trainer.
  • Complete a 90-day probationary period successfully.
  • Provide training and support to new team members as the team grows.

Performance Metrics and Feedback:

  • Gather and analyze customer and vendor feedback to improve services.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews based on metrics such as customer satisfaction, profit generation, and service delivery efficiency.

Team Collaboration and Incentives:

  • Work collaboratively with other Stahla Services team members to provide comprehensive coverage and high-quality service.
  • Collaborate with the finance team by providing detailed descriptions of who needs to be billed and what they need to be billed for.
  • Incentivize the team by splitting commissions for shared jobs and providing profit-sharing opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a logistics role with a proven track record of growth and problem-solving.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, integration, operation, and renewals.
  • Previous experience in sourcing, sales, customer service, or related roles is beneficial.

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and via email.
  • Strong organizational skills with strong CRM skills and proficiency in Smart Sheets, HubSpot, and Google Drive (must become proficient in all three software programs).
  • High integrity and character, detail-oriented, and responsible.
  • Ability to simplify complexity and find creative, resourceful solutions.
  • Highly motivated with a pattern of growing in past roles.
  • Competed at the highest level within a sport or activity.
  • Exceptional prioritization skills to ensure timely resolutions that are appropriate for the severity and impact of the situation.

  • Provide your own computer and dual screen setup.
  • Have high-speed internet and a high-quality phone connection.

Performance Expectations

  • Generate at least $500,000 in profit, which equates to an approximate salary of $100,000.
  • Successfully complete a 90-day probationary period.
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction ratings.

Estimated Weekly Work Hours:

  • 15-30 hours per week when starting out.
  • 20-40 hours per week after training, depending on the amount of leads/jobs available and assigned to you.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Profit Sharing: 20% of the profit on all deals.
  • Lead Sales Commission: 50% commission on lead sales.
  • Training Compensation: Split the profit 50/50 with the trainer for the first five jobs and for the first 20 lead sales.
  • Probationary Period: 90 days.
  • Note: This role is still being developed, and the compensation package is subject to change as the position evolves.
