Description
The Logistics Manager oversees the daily movement of trailers, drivers/techs, and equipment across assigned regions. This role ensures on-time deliveries, optimized routing, clear communication, and a consistently high standard of field execution.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, calm under pressure, and excellent at coordinating multiple moving parts. This person will partner closely with shop technicians, Operations Managers, Sales, and customers to ensure flawless service.
Essential Job Functions
- Coordinate daily logistics for deliveries, pickups, service calls, and long-term rentals.
- Create optimized routes that reduce drive time, fuel cost, and shop load.
- Maintain real-time communication with field teams, providing updates, instructions, and customer notes.
- Review incoming orders and plan resource allocation (drivers, trucks, trailers, equipment).
Ensure all deliveries meet Stahla’s standards for setup, cleanliness, customer communication, and documentation. - Monitor fleet readiness: trailer availability, maintenance needs, cleanliness, and shop schedules.
- Partner with Sales to confirm delivery windows, address customer questions, and provide ETA updates.
- Update Samsara, HubSpot, Google Calendar, and internal systems with accurate scheduling and job details.
- Track and resolve issues or delays, communicating proactively with customers and internal teams.
- Review completed jobs for quality control, photo documentation, and accuracy.
- Support emergency response deployments when needed (storms, outages, urgent rentals).
- Continuously improve logistics processes, routing strategies, and communication flows.
Preferred Talents
- 3+ years in logistics, dispatching, fleet coordination, or field service operations.
- Experience in rentals, construction, event services, or similar industries preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with ability to juggle many moving pieces.
- Excellent communication — calm, clear, and confident.
- Proficient with scheduling tools, GPS/fleet systems (Samsara preferred), and Google Workspace.
- Ability to problem-solve quickly and stay composed during high-volume days.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-region environment.
- High alignment with Stahla’s values.

Hours
- General workday is 8AM-4PM
- Weekend work included as needed
