As a Broker (Logistics and Sales Coordinator), you will take full ownership of managing the lifecycle of specialty trailer rentals. From sales and lead management to logistics coordination and customer service, you’ll ensure seamless operations while working independently to achieve results.

What to Expect in the Role

• This is primarily a phone, email, and computer-based role where you’ll manage multiple tasks using two or three screens at once.

• The majority of work happens between 8 AM and 4 PM, though some tasks may require attention before or after these hours during busy periods.

• The work atmosphere alternates between busy times, where attention to detail is critical, and quieter times, offering flexibility to plan ahead or recharge.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Lead Management

• Proactively respond to inbound leads, qualify prospects, and prepare competitive quotes.

• Follow up with customers to close deals and build long-term relationships.

• Take full responsibility for managing your pipeline and ensuring steady revenue generation.

2. Logistics Coordination

• Independently coordinate trailer delivery, setup, and pickup with a nationwide network of vendors.

• Take ownership of schedules, confirm job details, and troubleshoot any logistical challenges without needing constant guidance.

• Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion.

3. Customer and Vendor Relations

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and vendors throughout the job lifecycle.

• Provide clear and professional communication to all stakeholders, ensuring a high level of trust and reliability.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable service delivery.

4. Administrative and Reporting

• Use company systems to log job details, manage workflows, and track profitability.

• Ensure accurate documentation of all transactions and communications.

• Provide regular reports on job performance and earnings, taking ownership of the results.

Experience:

• 2+ years in logistics, brokering, or a related field.

Tools:

• Familiarity with CRMs, logistics software, and basic financial tracking tools.

Compensation

Commission:

• Earn up to 30% of profits for each completed job.

• If responsibilities for a job are shared (e.g., sales (10%) and logistics (20%) split between team members), commissions will be divided based on contributions.

Earning Potential:

• Full-time brokers can expect consistent earnings of $10,000+ per month ($120,000+ annually), depending on job volume and profit margins.
